Get help breathing by using this Vicks VapoSteam 8 fl oz. It should be added to a Vicks Vaporizer or other hot/warm steam humidifiers, to increase the action of steam to moisten dry, irritated breathing passages. The VapoSteam camphor can temporarily relieve coughs due to minor throat and bronchial irritation associated with a cold. This product can be used to take care of certain symptoms that make breathing difficult. The humidifier Vaposteam will make a useful addition to other cold and flu products in the medicine cabinet. It will come in handy during certain parts of the year when the weather and conditions make breathing hard. This product is not intended for internal use and should not be given to children under 2 years old. The Vicks VapoSteam 8 fl. oz. can be added to a humidifier and inhaled while the user is comfortably relaxing, to promote a fast recovery. PLEASE NOTE: For steam inhalation only. 99% LOVE IT; 1% aggravating designIf anyone has ever used the typical Vicks vaporub in the jar that has a vaseline consistency, it’s the same smell just SO much easier and less messy for a vaporizer! It still has a somewhat thicker consistency than water and will leave a residue so you probably won’t want to sit the bottle on your furnishings, counters or table top without a paper towel or coaster or just cleaning it off. That’s probably my only “issue” which isn’t a big deal really, but I do so HATE trying to pour from the bottle…you’re gonna spill or drip! And it’s clear so when it drips down the bottle you don’t see it…thus the paper towel coaster. Not the end of the world, just irritating. Doesn’t keep me from buying it!

Can’t live withoutThis is my go to when someone in the house is sick. I use a capful and a half and the entire room is filled with the soothing menthol smell that keeps the coughing at bay all night long

Just like the original version!Vicks is known for their quality and this product is no exception. It smells just like the original formula. I bought the 70’s version on Mercari to compare and my first reaction was “It’s THE SAME!”
I have bought the off brand versions and while they don’t smell bad and work, Vicks is a step above their quality.
My only complaint is the instructions say to put the product in the tank of the vaporizer. The instructions for the vaporizers all say NOT to do this. It will cause the vaporizer to bubble and can ruin it. You only want to put the Vicks vaposteam in the medicine compartment at the top of the vaporizer.
Other then discrepancies in the instructions, this product is THE BEST for cough and congestion. I don’t even use cough syrup or drops as this works so much better!

Vicks vapor steam.Always a part of the winter preparation. At least once a year someone gets a cold. It always makes them sleep better if I use a little in the vaporizer.

Soothing EffectI am having hard time waking up because of congestion. So when I purchase this item along with the humidifier, my problem was gone and I had a goodnight sleep.

Works great, terrible cleanupWorks fantastic to open up sinuses so you can sleep. Leaves a white film on every surface in the house. This is a true test of is the benefit worth the cost.
