What Happened to Dial White Antibacterial?I opened a new 12-pack of the soap I have been using for over 50 years and what a shock. The soap is no longer white – it is light yellow and feels greasy to the touch when dry. And the scent! It smells absolutely rancid. Since I did not want to go to work smelling that way, I hunted up some soap slivers of the good old original Dial White Antibacterial soap that I had saved and used those.

They changed the formula again after they first changed it about 15 years ago or more and it was too soft then, but now it’s much worse it dissolves too quickly in to soft mush and breaks into 2 small mushy pieces!
And it’s a waste of $! many customers are saying the same exact things on here and asking them to please bring back the old formula bars.

White Dial? More like new off white and oily dial.have you noticed a difference in color, scent, lather and after shower feel? Clearly we aren’t alone, If the there are no complaints other than from the loyal demographic of purchasers, why change the formula, or better yet, what not change back to the original.
My concern now lies in what was wrong with the old recipe, is there a hidden danger we don’t know about, or are the new ingredients cheaper and more profitable?
Either way, I’m sad to say that I must go out in search of a new product after 20+ years of dedication.

Power berriesBRING BACK THE GOOD SOAP! clearly your reviews are painfully obvious. The entire company can go under because no one likes this trash. Listen to your customers. It feels different on the skin, similar to dove. I don’t purchase dove because of the slick slimy feel after rinsing, that these now also have. bring back the glycerin soap and formulas people want!!!

Bring back the old formula!I have used Dial white bar soap for all 63 years of my life until this new formula. It is slimy and difficult to rinse, the fragrance is unpleasant and the softer bars disintegrate more quickly. It is awful and I will NOT be purchasing again in the future.
Please, bring back the classic formula – the new one is a disaster!!

Bring back old formula, new one is badThis new formula smells bad and I don’t feel clean after like with the original white bar, every time I contact social media or cs about this they do not respond or leave me on read. This new formula is terrible you are going to lose a lot of long time customers

Is this a bad batch?We have always used dial antibacterial bar soap. It was recommended years ago by a physician it Worked great,but I agree with the below reviews something has changed! The soap is yellow and smells terrible! Will not purchase this anymore if it doesn’t change. What happened dial? Will you be sending out reimbursement to consumers?

Sad to see all classic Dial bar soap formulas go away .The new Dial bar formulas are not the same as the old ones . The scents have changed , the way they work , and the size has changed . Many times this may be due to cost advantages . This could include moving production out of the country . I did notice the bars are made in Columbia . I was using the white bars and they definitely don’t smell the same . Disappointed to say the least. I won’t be buying Dial products any further . I seem to remember Lever 2000 was reasonable priced and smelled similar to Dial . This is going lose customers including me . What a shame .
