Works great on bug bites!I bought this cream to get some relief from chigger bites. I had at least 100 bites on my legs; no exaggeration. I kept scratching in my sleep, and the itching kept waking me up. I tried several other creams; some worked for a short amount of time, and I would wake up scratching again. I rubbed this cream on my legs, finally got some sleep, and woke up to bites that were drying out. I showered, reapplied the cream, and didn’t feel too itchy until late afternoon. I reapplied again, and was fine until bedtime. After a few days of using this cream, the bites are almost totally dried up, and healing.
This cream is pink like regular calamine, but it is much thicker, and sticks to your skin better. It will rub off on your clothes and bedding, just like calamine, but it hasn’t stained anything so far. Because this cream contains diphenhydramine (Benadryl), please use caution when using oral diphenhydramine while using this cream. Also, some medical studies advise that using topical diphenhydramine long term may affect your body’s ability to utilize oral dihpenhydramine. So, follow the label, and talk to a doctor if your symptoms last more than 7 days.

Better than the doctors choice.VA doctor prescribed a small tube of antirash cream for a 6’2” 300 lb with a rash over 90% of the body, had to go out and buy 4 more tube of a different type but worked 100% better.

awesome stuffThis stuff is 100% better then Calamine!
I put it on thick and often more times then it recommends BUT it helps almost immediately. I’m horrible when it comes to poison Ivy (this summer I got it TWICE!!!).
But I SWEAR by this stuff.
CREAM ONLY! The spray kind doesn’t not work nearly as well.

Immediately soothed the heat and itching of contact dermatitis upon applying (not poison ivy, oak, or sumac). Keep it a thin layer or it will pill up and crumble off. Used in conjunction with an oral antihistamine, it helped me get through the wait to get a prescription (5 days). Thankful for delivery!

Helps relieve the itchI was surprised that this was pink. Works same as calamine lotion I used as a kid. Follow the directions and put it on thick. I think I prefer the ivarest spray.

Reviews maybe misleadingWhat I like about it was the positive reviews. The cream is thick but unfortunately doesn’t alleviate the pain. It still burns even after applying it. If I could give it a 0 star I would.
